My Chemical Romance Fires Drummer for Stealing

After their show in Auburn, Washington, the punk rock band My Chemical Romance fired their drummer Michael Pedicone for stealing from the band.
The band reported on their official website late Friday that they caught Pedicone stealing and that he confessed to the police after their show later that night.
My Chemical Romance has not disclosed what Pedicone was caught stealing.
The band does not plan on pressing charges against Pedicone, says lead guitarist, Frank Iero on the band’s official blog.

“The relationship between My Chemical Romance and Michael Pedicone is over,” says Iero.
The band is currently on The Honda Civic Tour with Blink-182.
The band is deeply “heartbroken” over the matter, and just want him out of their lives, said Iero on the official blog.
“The people who play in this band are a family, and family should not take advantage of each other like he did,” says Iero.
Pedicone shared his thoughts on the matter in a statement that he shared on his Twitter account and as a K! Exclusive on Kerrang.com.
In this statement Pedicone shares that he had issues both big and small with a member of the band’s crew.
He explains in his statement that he had reached his “wit’s end” and that had resulted in the poorest decision of his life.
“Rather than address the issues that I had with the crew member in an open and honest manner, I tried to make them look irresponsible,” wrote Pedicone. “My intention was to make this person look incompetent. I had no intention of profiting whatsoever.”
Pedicone then expresses how poor his judgment of this situation was and admits that what he did was a huge mistake that he will regret for years.
According to the statement, Pedicone writes that it was never his intention to hurt the band or his fans and wishes that he had had the opportunity to tell his side of the story.
He closes his statement by thanking My Chemical Romance members, crew and supporters.
Although hurt from the situation, the members of My Chemical Romance plan to keep moving forward as a band.
The band has temporarily replaced Pedicone with Jarrod Alexander of Suicide File while My Chemical Romance continues their tour with Blink 182.
