The punk rock, lead singer of the hit band Paramore, Hayley Williams, shared her emotional side while talking about the devotion of band guitarist, Taylor York.
Williams and Paramore fans were shocked by the sudden split of drummer and guitarist, brothers Josh and Zac Farro from the band in December 2010.
"When Josh and Zac were leaving, me and Taylor weren't close at all,” Williams told Alternative Press Magazine. "I was pretty sure that it was just going to be me and Jeremy. I was really scared Taylor was going to leave too."
In the end, the powerful front woman was jubilant when York approached her to say he was in fact not leaving the band.
Williams shared that after they had gone to dinner and a show, York had told her that he was in fact “not ready to go anywhere and that he still had more to do in Paramore.”
“After I just got in my car and cried and then wiped the tears away and thought 'Okay we're going to be all right,” said Williams, according to Alternative Press.
The Farro brothers left the band with harsh opinions regarding the bands as well as its management. Since then the brothers wish the band well, which continues to be a three piece group, as the Farro brothers have created their own band, Novel American, according to Contactmusic.
